Mr Kenneth Wilfred Waweru Kihara is the Founding and Senior Partner with more than 22 years of experience and a record of accomplishment that includes managing a number of complex, high-value transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, privatizations, competition, data protection and privacy, banking and project finance as well as tax litigation, procurement disputes, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, telecommications, oil and gas, insolvency and alternative dispute resolution. His dedicated focus is on local, multinational and cross-border transactions including public private partnerships projects, financings, acquisitions, privatisations, as well as capital markets transactions. He is also experienced in regulatory compliance.

In addition, Mr Waweru spent a decade working with the United Nations, specifically the UNHCR Kenya, UNHCR Sudan, Oxfam GB, ARTES, IDLO-Italy and IFAD-Italy with postings in Europe and the Great lakes region and horn of Africa particularly in, Sudan, Lesotho, UK, Italy, DR-Congo, Rwanda, Somalia, Tanzania, Eritrea, Uganda, Iraq and Ethiopia.

Kipkemboi Rotuk is a Partner with over 10 years’ experience in handling tax litigation, commercial litigation, constitutional matters, procurement disputes, real estate litigation and alternative dispute resolution. He has handled complex commercial and tax disputes and represents multinational firms, local firms and departments of the Government of Kenya.

Previously, he has worked with Dentons Harrison Hamilton & Mathews in the Litigation & Disputes Resolution Department as well as KPMG Kenya in the Tax & Regulatory Services Department.

Ms. Wanjiku Ngugi is a Partner and Head of Corporate Department with more than 3 years of experience handling high value conveyance transactions for investors, individual clients and corporate in real estate, financings, securitization, debt restructuring, insolvency, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, privatizations, banking and project finance, legal and regulatory compliance and capital markets transactions.

She acts for a number of local and multinational financial institutions, microfinance lenders, real estate projects as well as an array of other investment firms. She is well skilled in regulatory compliance and legal audits. She offers counsel on the suitable business entities to incorporate in Kenya for both local and international clients. She also works to ensure the entities are well established and ready to run while abiding to all the statutory compliances.

In addition she heads the family law department and prides in assisting families reach common ground by prioritizing family values over the issues and conflicts at hand. Her passion, enthusiasm, dedication to her work and attention to her clients’ needs is felt every time she attends to their needs.
